...and more

Doodles

Several pages of Doodles here. The problem with any kind of 'on the fly' sketching in Dublin is that you run the risk of getting thumped for looking like a stalker/freak/pervert.
Hence many 'back of the head' angles in this collection :)

Ag Marcagh Óg

This is something I've been trying to find the time to do for a while now.
There are nineteen pages to illustrate...all roughed out now thankfully, and I'm finally inking the drawings. Here are the first four. I've been completely tied up for the last couple of months storyboarding TV ads so its nice to loosen up on some traditional illustration...well I say traditional although I am inking digitally on a cintiq 12WX. Word of caution...if you can afford it buy the larger model (21inch), this one is way too small working at 100%...very frustrating unless your final artwork is appearing on a postage stamp. You may have noticed I've finally began talking.

Old work

I've been cleaning up my hard drive and finding some older work.
I'll start posting some of the better ones as time goes.

Online tutorial

I dug this one out recently.
It was requested by "Scamp" an online blog asssociated with the Illustrators Guild of Ireland in 2007. Follow the link below to take a look. It's not exactly brain science but it's always interesting to see how the "others" work.
